Fun Finds and Then Some...

What a week. I hope it was great for you, but if not - here's to the weekend!

I have a bit of a mix for you today -
starting with some Fun Finds from none other than Ross. Oh yeah.

Some cute mosaic tables. Love the green!

~~~~~
A candidate for diy lamps - it lost. But still love it!
~~~~~

This pict. does this no justice. It's so neat in person. :-)

~~~~~
LOVE these - every time I see them!
Definitely on the splurge list for me (even at Ross).
~~~~~

These just remind me of fun, glamour, and Christmas.

~~~~~
These benches were $60 each. Not so "rustic", but I love them. :-)
~~~~~

These were at Fred Meyer.

I love the dark iron lids and base.

I would definitely use these in my home! wink.wink. ;-)

~~~~~
Now......see this cute kid??? He's two.
He likes to do stuff like this -
AHHHHH!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I WAS PRACTICALLY DONE WITH THAT!!!!!!
HUUUUGGGEEEE SIGH. :-(
(For those wondering, that's actually Latex Primer
with a touch of ASCP Graphite - that doesn't wipe off as easily.)
But then I remember this.....
He's totally into this copying stage,
so of course he wants to try all this fun stuff mommy is doing!
I should feel complimented, right?
*breeeeeathe*
It's an easy fix. :-)
Last we have a little sneak peak of the hutch in process.....
I am SO excited for the big reveal.
Between catching this last bit of nice weather
for last minute "summer" house projects
(i.e. staining shingles, sealing concrete - hmmm....sounds like furniture stuff!) -
I'm shooting for early next week to share this hutch with you!
Have a fantastic weekend!!!
Fabulous Finds at Haley's Cottage
This past week I ventured to Kirkland to pick up some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Wax at Haley's Cottage. Since this is my first time using ASCP, I was super excited to find Cindy as a mini-stockist not too far away in one of my favorite cities!
To my wonderful surprise, as I walked in the store,
 I was flooded with an array of beautiful items which I, of course,
am going to share with all of you!
You'll have to check out the store if you are in town.
They are located at 123 Park Lane.
So...here we go! TONS of GREAT furniture pieces,
from beds to table to chairs.
Everything in Haley's Cottage is Gorgeous (yes...with a capital G)!
And congratulations to Cindy and her family
as they are preparing for their daughter Haley's wedding in a month.
I know it will be beautiful!
What are some of your favorites featured above?
I'd love to know!
I hope you have a GREAT friday!
I'm off to have some fun picking eating blueberries
with the kiddos and grandma. :-) Yum-yum!
Until next week...
The Irony Of Our Talents
The ironic thing about having a joy and passion for something is that you don't always get to implement it how you envisioned. Let me clarify....
Being a person who LOVES painting and has educated myself on ways to continually improve, I have had the honor this past week to find a precious hour here and there each day looking down the line at this....
Yes...I have taken on the task of staining our backyard fence.  I still have this...
And this....
And this....
Love the Cabot stain - recommended by a professional painter @ Orange! Thank.you.sir!
The fence is already looking great now that the stain is getting on there!
Have you ever hand brushed a long fence???
On the brighter side of things, here are some fun finds I spotted @ a recent trip to ROSS.
LOVED this last one here!!! It is gorgeous!
Enjoy your weekend! My sister's wedding is next Friday! My how times flies!!! ;-)
