Hello and thank you for taking the time to check out RustiChic! My name is Anneke....like Monica, without the "M"! I've been happily married to my hubby for 9 years, and we have three beautiful and busy little kiddos 2 ,4, and 6. I am a Bible-believing Christian, and tell you so because I thank Him daily for the creative inspiration He gives me and the joy that comes from it into my life.
I love to design, build, and repurpose used furniture! I also love designing, decorating, and literally all things do-it-yourself...ok, except maybe housecleaning! I find a particular beauty in old things made new, and the challenge of designing and building simple and practical pieces of furniture. I love all things rustic intermixed with all things shabby, French, country, and girly chic!
I am inspired to live life to the fullest with the people closest to me, while reaching out to others along this journey called life. I like to try new things, finally understanding that our failures are just as much a part of the journey as our successes. Thank you for joining me!
