Creamy Buffet Full of SURPRISES!!!

I know - two posts in one day.
I think I officially hate scheduling posts!
So here ya go!!!

Ok...this might be the most pathetic and exciting post in one.
Seriously...
If you click here, it will take you to
Woah!

And in this post, you will find the before picture of
this next piece which I'm about to show you.
SO - that means I've officially had
this piece of furniture
"In The Works"
since.April.2011.

SAD!!! :-(

I always needed just a bit of help from my hubby
on this one, and it always got put on the back burner
as life and other furniture passed by.

Well...I am now excited to bring you the official after

named

"MELODY"
(since it's an old stereo console)

BEFORE
(just to remind you)

SO much potential! When I bought this, seriously, the poor guy
had NO clue why in the world I was SO excited about it.
Let's take a look!!!

MORE AFTER PICTURES

This is where the old stereo used to be.

And TA-DA!!!

Chalkboard paint on the back makes it SO fun!

But just wait....

SURPRISE!!!!

I LOVE THIS PIECE OF FURNITURE!!!!!
Seriously...you might have to fight me for it! Lol :-)

I love that the inside can store longer items
if you want to.

I refinished it with spray paint so long ago.
Honestly, I've learned SO much since then,
I would finish it different, but still LOVE it obviously.

A little close-up. New pulls, hinges, lid support
bun feet, and plywood interior shelf under lid, not
to mention A LOT of hours...and worth every one!

And that's my girl and puppy (6 and 9 respectively). :-)

$475 cash

Dimensions are: 59" long x 20" deep x 32" high

Contact me for arrangements.

I definitely have a love for buffets, consoles etc.
I think they are so versatile and this could definitely be
used in a variety of ways.

More to come - I'm going double time right now!

Was there stero equipment when you bought it? I never thought about yanking all the old stuff out and repurpose a stero cabinet for storage and a buffet! Great job, I love it!

What a great upcycle of a stereo cabinet! You had a vision for it that may have taken some time to complete but in my opinion was well worth the time! - Susan
