The Painted Pink Chair!

Ok, ok...I just can't wait. It's not totally done (just some final sanding to reduce shininess and create softness), but here is a sneak peak of "The Pink Chair", inspired by Kristy from Hyphen Interiors.
You'll have to wait for before pictures, but just imagine....brown speckly wood frame with dark olive green velvety fabric. Ok, the first coat.....

the second coat.....

the final coat....

TA-DA!

LOVE IT!!!

("Official" pict. to come....I just really couldn't wait!)

NEW: Look HERE for the officially done picts.

Thank you SO much! I would LOVE for you to post this on your blog!!! I am going to finish the sanding tonight and get better photos in the daylight by tomorrow. I think the "official" picture of the after will be worth the wait and maybe post that one with the before next to it??? Thanks again! :-D

For sure. Email me and we'll talk about details! I'm excited. It's cool to comment on your own blog if it's a question that most people want to see the answer to... if not, in case the person doesn't come back to read comments on that post again, it usually works best to email or comment back on their blog - just fyi since you mentioned not being sure about that. Definitely looking forward to pics in the daylight!

Amazing! It looks stunning, one day I will have to try it. I did make an attempt but I think the fabric was too old and worn :( Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

You did such a great job, it's so inspiring to see people having success with Kristy's method, I'm dying to try it!

Thank you SO much! This really was a lot of fun, and definitely worth the experiment. Happy to say I have a few inquiries too!
